We are looking for a Service Technician responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial fitness equipment. This role blends mechanical skill, troubleshooting, documentation accuracy, and clear communication.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues on commercial fitness equipment
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, accurately document work performed, parts used, and warranty status
  • Maintain service vehicle inventory and ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards
  • Provide repair estimates and coordinate with dispatch or inside sales for parts and quotations
  • Communicate professionally and clearly outlining issues, timelines, and next steps
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve equipment uptime and meet SLAs

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong mechanical or electro-mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand and power tools
  • Experience in commercial fitness equipment or similar field service roles preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively in the field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable with local travel and occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required
  • Basic proficiency with mobile apps, CRM systems, or digital work-order platforms
