We are now accepting applications for a qualified Mental Health Counseling- Adjunct Pool at Belmont University.

Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
 

Job functions:

1.  Teach up to 6 credit hours per semester.

2.  Create syllabus and timeline of classes, for students per semester.

3.  Provide meeting time for students and attend/teach courses at times assigned for the course.

4.  Manage online grading system and submit grades on time. 

5.  Submit book orders, if textbooks required.

6. Abide by all relevant university and/or departmental procedures and policies.

7. Teach using ACA Codes of Ethics and CACREP standards.

8. Respond to student inquiries within 72 hours.

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Knowledge of the programs and services offered by Belmont University.
    • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
    • Terminal degree in counseling or related field.
      
    Required EducationDoctorate in counseling or related field.
      
    Required ExperienceExperience teaching in higher education or coursework taken in higher education teaching.
