KOMAN integrated Solutions, LLC has a lucrative career opportunity for a seasoned Superintendent with airfield operations experience to support our projects at Ft. Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ

The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and contractual obligations.

What does the position do?

  • Plans and directs all construction activities on the project.
  • Supervises and mentors all field staff and provides constructive feedback.
  • Coordinates all labor, materials, and equipment for the project.
  • Creates & manages "three week" look ahead schedules and reviews them with the project team, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Reads and understands construction plans and scope of work thoroughly to prepare action plans.
  • Partners with project team to track project schedule and budgets.
  • Establishes a safe work environment, facilitates safety meetings, updates safety logs, and documents safety concerns.
  • Maintains clear communication channel with clients and the project team and resolves problems as they arise.
  • Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.
  • Implement safety and quality guidelines.
  • Procures the appropriate equipment and arranges regular maintenance.
  • Communicates with clients and internal team on project progress.
  • Produces accurate and detailed daily reports.

What will top candidates bring to the table?

  • 5 years� experience as a Construction Superintendent.
  • Experience with airfield operations, pavement type projects is highly required.
  • Experience with federal government contracting is desired.
  • Ability to manage diverse projects, subcontractors, resources, and teams.
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
  • Understands construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Willing to travel and/or work remotely for periods of time as required.
  • Understanding of project scheduling software.
