JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibilities of this role include supporting the Business Development team in generating business-to-business sales and driving lead generation efforts. This position involves prospecting within assigned territories, conducting cold outreach via phone and email, and participating in new business meetings. The role will also assist in proposal preparation, presentations, and site walks during the estimating process, as well as perform data entry and administrative tasks. Additionally, this position provides exposure to all Premier departments to develop a comprehensive understanding of company operations. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform all duties as assigned by management related to the position
  • Generate leads through various methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and in-person prospecting
  • Collaborate with Senior Business Developers in a team-selling environment to gain experience and industry knowledge
  • Assist in the preparation and review of RFPs, contracts, and project estimates
  • Support administrative functions necessary to successfully complete job responsibilities


SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients
  • Strong written communication skills to produce clear and accurate documentation
  • Motivated to develop and grow within business development and sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience navigating databases


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role is a plus
