A Day in the Life of a Lot & Inventory Specialist
As a Lot & Inventory Specialist, you play an important role behind the scenes and on the front line, helping keep our dealership organized, safe, and ready to serve customers.
Your day may start with unloading a truck delivery, organizing incoming equipment, or checking inventory into our system. From there, you may move equipment on the lot, support displays inside the dealership, help locate units for customers or the sales team, and keep the grounds clean and presentable.
You’ll use digital tools to track inventory, help maintain a safe and professional environment, and make sure the dealership runs smoothly.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, physical work, and seeing the direct results of a job well done.
Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right and support the team.
What You’ll Do
As a Lot & Inventory Specialist, you will:
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized dealership lot, yard, and facility
- receive, track, and manage equipment inventory using our digital inventory system
- load, unload, and move equipment safely using appropriate vehicles and tools
- move equipment, parts, and supplies throughout the dealership
- operate a forklift and other equipment as needed
- assist with dealership displays, setup, and movement of equipment
- support grounds maintenance, including appearance and safety of outdoor areas
- work closely with sales, parts, and service teams to support daily operations
- ensure inventory is accurate, accessible, and ready when needed
- help create a dealership environment that reflects outstanding service

What You Need to be a LandPro Lot & Inventory Specialist:
- ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- ability to lift, move, and handle equipment or materials safely
- comfortable operating or learning to operate a forklift
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to interpret basic inventory-related reports
- ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- basic understanding of equipment and workplace safety procedures
- high school diploma or equivalent experience
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
It’s a Plus if You Have:
- previous warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving, or yard experience
- forklift certification
- experience using scanners, tablets, or digital inventory systems
- experience around agricultural, turf, or heavy equipment
