What You’ll Do
As a Staff Accountant, you’ll contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations while supporting key accounting processes:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries with appropriate supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies
- Assist with monthly close activities and financial reporting
- Support quarterly and annual statutory financial statement preparation
- Contribute to insurance and municipal tax filings
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of accounting experience
- Associate’s degree in Accounting required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A team-oriented, results-driven mindset
