JOB TITLE: Engineering Intern

REPORTS TO: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly

Purpose and Scope

The Engineering Intern supports the Engineering and Production teams by assisting with process improvements, design updates, and data-driven problem solving. This role contributes to improving manufacturing efficiency, maintaining accurate engineering documentation, and supporting troubleshooting and implementation of equipment and process changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste


• Assist in bringing drawings up to date with current tooling and parts


• Support production troubleshooting and root cause analysis


• Collect and analyze data related to quality, scrap, and downtime


• Help develop and update work instructions, bill of materials, and standard operating procedures


• Collaborate with production and quality teams


• Support implementation of new equipment or process changes


• Assist in design improvements for electrical routings


• Assist in design improvements of hose routings and lengths


• Other duties and projects assigned.
