Qualifications:
The configuration analyst provides support and analysis to maintain, audit and continually improve configuration management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and prepare configuration management plans and procedures
- Performs and maintains configuration management activities for Configuration Items manufactured, procured, repaired, altered or overhauled within the production process.
- Perform configuration audits, monitor trouble reports and change requests, evaluate and select tools to automate the change control process, and provides status accounting support
- Establish, operate, and maintain program documentation support libraries
- Assist in the evaluation, definition, standardization, and tracking of data elements
- Facilitate working groups of functional experts to establish central repository requirements for data storage, protection, and retrieval
- Create and populate data dictionaries
- Provide a full range of data mapping, validation, and documentation support
Qualifications:
Education:
- BS or BA- Required
- Degree in a Technical Field - Preferred
Experience:
- 3 Years Experience – Required
- 7 Years Experience - Desired
Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
