POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY     

Escort patients to and from the Radiology Department and patient care areas.  Operates the processing equipment to facilitate patient flow.  Performs clerical duties and procedures relating to in-patient and outpatient workflow, scheduling examinations, and releasing films.  The fellow assists the technologist in various technical procedures.  Assists in other areas in a non-technical capacity as required.

Maintains a high level of initiative, dependability and motivation.  Displays a professional attitude with patients and staff.  Communicates effectively.  Exhibits knowledge of hospital/departmental developments by attending at least the minimum number of required in-services and meetings.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

 

• Must have completed 2 semesters of an accredited Radiographic Program and be in good academic standing. 


• Must be currently CPR certified.
