Summary:

Harper Industries is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for MIG welding components according to schematics, performing quality inspections, and working collaboratively within the department to meet production goals. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Requirements:

• Basic MIG welding skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Experience using measuring tools for alignment and accuracy

• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods

• Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ lbs

• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical required

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding operations in accordance with production drawings and specifications

• Use measuring devices to ensure proper alignment and fit-up of components

• Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to move materials

• Use torch, grinder, and other tools to prepare and finish welds

• Inspect work for accuracy and quality compliance

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Other duties as assigned

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, 40-hour work week

• Overtime must be approved by the Weld Supervisor

• Pay based on experience and skill level
