Job Description:
Perform welding operations according to blueprints, company standards and applicable standards to meet inspection criteria in accordance with defined requirements.Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to weld different types of material such as: Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel
- Ability to set up and maintain welding machine (tip, liner, changes, etc.) and weld vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
- Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter.
- Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required.
- Grind and clean areas where required.
- Stay current in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed.
- Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Level II - 3-5 years of experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Welding Certifications Required.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, as well as weld symbols.
- Process knowledge and experience to set up, adjust, and maintain welding machines.
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass the required welding certification test
- Must be able to perform an uphill weld.

Mental Functions
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods while performing precise work.
- Strong situational awareness when working with heat, gas, and moving equipment.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good judgment in identifying defects or unsafe conditions.
Physical Functions
- Standing for long periods (up to 10–12 hours depending on shift).
- Repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Good vision and depth perception to inspect brazed joints.
- Ability to work in hot conditions near brazing equipment.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, fumes, noise, and industrial equipment.
- Requires use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, face shields, and protective clothing.
- Fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
- May require overtime, additional shifts, or weekend work based on production demands.
