Job Description

SWBC is seeking a talented individual who will supervise the staff and activities involved with entering and updating client insurance coverage information into computer systems.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Supervises the staff and activities of the data Entry team to include prioritizing, scheduling and monitoring the daily workflow, and process changes to ensure timely and accurate data input.
  • Assists in the interviewing and hiring of new employees, completing and conducting employee performance appraisals, and approving vacation and sick time requests.
  • Resolves all loan insurance inquiries, request for change, insurance payment, and refund issues from borrowers, insurance agents/brokers, and company staff, either by telephone, or written communication.
  • Assists in assuring clients with accurate and timely loan status information by verifying, updating, and researching loan insurance information.
  • Oversees the integration of input and update functions with LSAMS, COGNASYS, the AS400, and other automated systems and reports any system problems and/or issues to management.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalency. Some college coursework in Business, Management, Accounting, or related courses preferred.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in Banking, Insurance, Customer Service or related experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate with a range of persons, from customers to senior management.
  • Able to operate a PC and basic office equipment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Able to type 40 WPM accurately.
