What you´ll do

  •  Troubleshoot and maintain packaging and support equipment to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct line changeovers and make necessary adjustments per production schedule.
  • Execute PM tasks, identify issues, and correct mechanical/electrical problems.
  • Design, fabricate, and repair parts; operate lathes, milling machines, and other shop tools.
  • Support manufacturing personnel with process issues and train others on basic maintenance. 
  • Other
    duties as assigned

What makes you a good fit

  • High School graduate, or
    equivalent, or Associate degree in
    mechanical technology, electrical technology, or engineering science a plus. 
  • Completion
    of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship, or military technical training
    strongly preferred.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of
    machine shop operations, welding, mechanical/electrical maintenance principles
    (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC motors, starters,
    contactors, three phase power, PLC’s) required.
  • Ability to read blueprints,
    possess advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and production
    maintenance work experience. 
  • Initiative/motivation
    and communication skill required.
  • 7-plus
    years’ mechanic experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • The
    position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for
    long periods of time throughout the day.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.  Occasionally this position may require the
    lifting and/or moving of more than 60 pounds.  All lifting must comply with OSHA standards.

The salary for this role is $25.00 - $40.00 plus shift differential $2.25. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
