Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop technical skills and contribute to the success of our organization.
- Provide basic technical support to employees for hardware, software, and networking issues, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Assist in setting up new computers, configuring software, and performing routine maintenance on IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software applications, and network connectivity, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Support IT projects, including hardware or software rollouts, system upgrades, and new technology implementations, under the guidance of senior IT team members.
- Help create, modify, and manage user accounts, including resetting passwords and managing access permissions.
- Track IT assets, such as hardware and software licenses.
- Support end-users, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with various IT-related projects to ensure efficient operation of our systems and networks.
- Perform duties outside your assigned area when called upon by the Executive Leadership or Direct Supervisor as needed
- Assist with basic support and maintenance of virtual machines, network-connected systems, and security-related IT tasks under the guidance of senior IT staff.
Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience also considered.
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, preferably Catapult.
- Working knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems, common office applications, and Google Workspace.
- Basic understanding of networking principles, including device connectivity, IP addressing, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including secure password practices, phishing awareness, and endpoint security.
- Familiarity with virtual machines and basic system environments.
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly
