The Senior Manager of Inside Sales is responsible for driving day-to-day revenue performance, execution excellence, and continuous improvement across the Customer Engagement Center.

Compensation Information:
$90,000 annually plus bonus
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day performance of inside sales teams through direct leadership of supervisors, ensuring consistent execution across all sales channels.
- Own team performance against key sales metrics (contact rate, appointment rate, conversion, install rate, and retention).
- Establish and maintain structured performance management routines.
- Lead, coach, and hold supervisors accountable for team performance.
- Partner with the Director to execute sales strategies and provide feedback.
- Identify performance gaps and implement targeted improvement plans to increase sales productivity, conversion, and overall effectiveness.
- Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends, forecast performance, and drive data-informed decisions and action plans.
- Own and drive continuous improvement of sales processes, workflows, scripting, and customer engagement practices.
- Partner with workforce management to align staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure consistent and effective use of CRM systems, dialer tools, and established sales processes.
- Drive execution of outbound and inbound engagement strategies.
- Provide oversight and guidance on escalated customer issues.
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement across all levels of the team.
- Deliver regular performance reporting and insights to the Director.
- Support implementation of new initiatives, campaigns, and process enhancements to improve sales outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years’ inside sales or contact center sales experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years leading multiple supervisors, team leads, or managers responsible for frontline sales teams in a high-volume, KPI-driven environment.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-team ownership (e.g., overseeing multiple functions such as inbound, outbound, retention, or re-engagement) with accountability for aggregate performance across teams, not just a single team.
- Proven track record of driving measurable sales performance improvement, including increasing conversion rates, productivity, and revenue outcomes, not just maintaining existing performance.
- Demonstrated ability to identify root causes of performance gaps and implement scalable solutions, including process improvements, scripting changes, or workflow optimization.
- Experience building and enforcing structured performance management systems (e.g., scorecards, performance cadences, accountability frameworks) across multiple teams.
- Strong leadership capability with experience developing and holding leaders accountable, including performance management of supervisors or equivalent roles.
- Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms, dialer systems, and reporting tools, with the ability to leverage data to diagnose issues and drive decisions, not just report on results.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to improve sales performance and operational outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into action plans that improve performance at scale.
- Proven ability to operate at both a tactical and operational level, balancing day-to-day execution with continuous improvement
