Position SummaryThe College of Nursing (CON) is hiring Emergency Temporary Part-Time Faculty positions to teach for CON undergraduate programs for all or part of the Summer term. The Summer term starts May 04, 2026 and ends August 15, 2026. 
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or graduate degree in nursing
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in State of New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by State of New Mexico

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Recent clinical experience
  • Previous precepting or teaching experience
  • A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
