Front-End Engineer (Mid / Senior)

  We're looking for a passionate Front-End Engineer to join our team and help shape the user experience for our

  next-generation service robots. You'll be working on cutting-edge interfaces — from on-robot touchscreens to

  fleet management dashboards — that serve as the primary interaction points between humans and autonomous robots

  in real-world environments.

 

[ What You'll Work On ]

  You'll be developing and maintaining sophisticated React-based applications that power the user interface for multiple robot types (food service, hospitality, and automation in factories and warehouses). These aren't jus  another web apps — they're critical interfaces that enable:

  📱 Robot Touchscreen Interface

  The primary touchscreen experience for end-users interacting directly with robots.

  •   Real-time Robot Control: Build intuitive interfaces for mission planning, delivery management, and navigation control
  • Live Mapping & Visualization: Create interactive mapping tools that display real-time robot location, routes, and environmental data  
  • Advanced Configuration: Design powerful yet user-friendly settings interfaces for robot customization and behavior tuning
  • Internationalization: Build experiences that work seamlessly across multiple languages and regions

  🖥️ Universe Web — Fleet Management Platform

  A sophisticated web application for operators and managers to monitor, control, and coordinate robot fleets at scale.

  • Real-time Fleet Monitoring: Build dashboards that stream live robot states, enabling operators to track dozens of robots simultaneously
  • Interactive Map Editor: Create canvas-based tools for designing robot navigation zones, routes, and operational boundaries
  • Multi-Robot Coordination: Design interfaces for mission assignment, task queuing, and fleet-wide behavior management
  • Analytics & Insights: Develop data visualizations that surface KPIs, operational metrics, and performance trends across locations

[ What We're Looking For ]

  Required Skills

  • 3+ years (6+ for Senior) of production React experience
  • Strong React Expertise: Deep understanding of React patterns, hooks, and modern best practices
  • TypeScript Proficiency: Comfortable writing type-safe code and working with complex type systems
  • UI/UX Sensibility: Ability to create intuitive, accessible interfaces that work across different screen sizes
  • State Management: Experience with state management libraries (MobX, Redux, or similar)
  • Testing Mindset: Commitment to writing maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to debug complex issues in real-time systems and handle edge cases

  Nice to Have

  • Experience with robotics or IoT applications
  • Canvas/WebGL visualization experience
  • Experience with Electron applications
  • Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) best practices
  • gRPC or Protocol Buffers knowledge
  • Experience with feature flag systems
  • Background in real-time data visualization

  • Design and implement new features for robot control and monitoring interfaces

  • Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
  • Work with robotics engineers to integrate new robot capabilities into the UI
  • Write tests to ensure reliability of critical features
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
  • Debug and fix issues reported from robot deployments in the field
  • Optimize performance for smooth interactions on embedded hardware and web browsers
