About the Department

The City of Riviera Beach Parks & Recreation Department is seeking Volunteer Coaches for the Youth 7v7 Football Program. Volunteer Coaches assist with practices and games and help create a safe, structured, and positive environment that promotes athletic skill development, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Position Duties

• Assist with youth 7v7 football practices and games
• Teach fundamental football skills, drills, and game rules
• Promote teamwork, respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship
• Ensure participant safety and adherence to league rules
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of equipment and practice areas
• Follow all City policies, program guidelines, and safety procedures
• Serve as a positive role model for youth participants

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work effectively with youth in a recreational sports environment
• Ability to communicate clearly with participants, parents, and staff
• Dependable and punctual
