Job Description

Position: Parking Staff 

Department: Facilities  

Type: Part Time, Seasonal  

ROLE:  

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

Successful candidates will be team-minded and care about going the extra mile for our guests. These team members should be outgoing, entertaining storytellers who are comfortable in front of fans in an interactive environment.  

 Our parking staff is the first impression for our guests, and often the first employees to arrive and last to leave. They are part of the facilities team and work both in the parking lot and inside the stadium.  

 Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To: 

  • Greet each guest with a warm welcome and treat them with courtesy and respect. 
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of Glacier Bank Park’s amenities and fan policies. 
  • Be familiar with the execution of emergency protocols and procedures. 
  • Properly record transactions via the point-of-sale system, collects the proper payment method for parking passes and process credit cards or determine correct change for guests. 
  • Monitor parking lots for the safety of guests and employees. 
  • Assist inside the stadium with facility upkeep during the game – trash removal, sweeping the concourse, restocking concession areas, etc. 

Only minimum duties are listed.  Other functions may be required as given or assigned. 

 Required Experience and Skills:  

  • Be available for the majority of the season (May – Mid September) 
  • Able and willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required. 
  • Be punctual, able to follow directions, and team minded. 
  • Be comfortable engaging with guests of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be at least 16 years of age. 
  • Be comfortable dealing with large crowds. 
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills. 
  • Be comfortable multi-tasking and resolving issues. 

 Working Conditions: 

  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions 
  • Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time (6 hours).  
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-50 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking on concrete through the building including inclines and stairs. 
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be noisy.
