What You’ll Do:
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, providing top-tier technical solutions and customer service.
- Diagnose and fix issues with residential ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine checks to prevent equipment failure. This includes cleaning air handling systems, monitoring reheat coils, calibrating controls, and replacing filters, motors, fans, and belts.
- Clearly explain diagnosed problems to customers in understandable terms. Provide repair options, associated costs, and offer guidance on warranties and guarantees.
- Assist with complex repairs involving refrigerant lines, thermostats, transformers, pumps, compressors, and condensers.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulatory codes. Complete all required documentation and service records accurately.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of professional experience in HVAC is required. Candidates with less than 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply for our Apprentice position instead.
- High school diploma or GED; EPA Certificate is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
- A high-energy, accountable, and confident individual who maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Must be coachable and eager to learn new technologies and industry standards.
- A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 pounds, including ductwork, furnaces, and various equipment.
- Frequent work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including confined spaces like attics or crawlspaces.
- Extensive bending, kneeling, and climbing of ladders to access and repair equipment.
