Company: Coastal Pipeline Inc
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Serving Broward & Palm Beach Counties)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay Range: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

The Opportunity
The Final Authority on Precision and Project Integrity.

Coastal Pipeline Inc. is seeking a high-caliber Utility Closeout Foreman & QA Specialist to serve as the critical "closer" for our premier underground utility projects. Since 1964, our firm has built a reputation for excellence that spans three generations. We aren't looking for a general laborer; we are looking for a technical expert who understands that a project isn't finished until it is perfect.

In this role, you will hold total accountability for the final testing, structural finishing, and quality assurance of water, sewer, and storm systems. If you have a "surgical" eye for detail, mastery of heavy machinery, and the technical skill to perform high-stakes PSI testing and manhole finishing, we want you to be the guardian of our 60-year legacy.

What You Will Be Doing
You will lead the transition from active construction to municipal hand-off, ensuring every component meets elite standards:

  • System Integrity Testing: Execute comprehensive PSI testing on water and sewer lines to ensure total system compliance and environmental safety.

  • Structural Finishing: Perform specialized cement work on catch basins and build precision inverts in sanitary manholes to meet strict engineering specifications.

  • Heavy Equipment Command: Safely and efficiently operate excavators and front-end loaders to facilitate final grading and system repairs.

  • Quality Assurance Inspections: Conduct rigorous, independent inspections of job sites and completed utility runs to identify and resolve issues before municipal turnover.

  • Site Logistics & Logistics Support: Manage material hauling and trailer towing; oversee job site restoration and clean-up to maintain an organized, professional presence.

  • Inter-Crew Collaboration: Provide strategic support to main pipe crews, bridging the gap between high-volume installation and final technical closeout.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

  • Florida Utility Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in water distribution, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage installation specifically within the State of Florida.

  • Specialized Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in dewatering operations and expert-level cement/invert work on manholes and catch basins.

  • Technical Certifications: Active OSHA certifications in Excavator and Front-End Loader operation, Trench Safety, and Traffic Safety.

  • Transportation & Hauling: A valid Driver’s License with proven experience towing trailers and hauling heavy materials to active job sites.

  • Precision Mindset: An uncompromising commitment to safety protocols and a "zero-defect" approach to craftsmanship.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interface with field crews, general contractors, and municipal inspectors.

Compensation & Premium Benefits
We reward the technical experts who ensure our projects stand the test of time:

  • Competitive Hourly Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (DOE), paid on a reliable weekly cycle.

  • Equipped for Success: Company Vehicle provided for professional use.

  • Financial Incentives: Eligibility for Annual and Performance-based bonuses.

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Health Insurance options to support you and your family.

  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and a stable Monday–Friday schedule.

  • Career Trajectory: Direct access to advanced training, industry certifications, and leadership growth opportunities.
