    About the Role

    • The Third Grade Elementary Teacher provides engaging and effective instruction in accordance with Catholic values and academic standards. This role supports our mission of growing disciples by fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that cultivates intellectual, spiritual, and emotional development

    • Instruction: Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that meet curriculum guidelines and address the needs of diverse learners.
    • Faith Integration: Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and activities.
    • Student Engagement: Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to achieve their best.
    • Assessment: Evaluate and monitor student progress through various assessment tools and provide feedback to guide learning.
    • Collaboration: Work with fellow teachers, parents, and administration to ensure student success and community building.
    • Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices and participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills.


    What You Need
    To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
    • Active Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Licensure
    • Commitment to Catholic values and the mission of Catholic education
    • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
