Trans Ova Genetics is seeking a motivated Commercial Professional Services Embryologist I to join our team in Dumas, TX. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform oocyte searching by pouring and examining OPU filters using microscopic techniques
- Assist with IVF laboratory processes, including stripping oocytes and loading straws
- Accurately enter and maintain embryology and lab data in accordance with established protocols
- Support inventory management of lab supplies and materials
- Adhere to Trans Ova Genetics’ policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Maintain a professional demeanor representative of Trans Ova Genetics’ industry leadership
- Promote and follow all workplace safety practices
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICIATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or a related field, or a Veterinary Technician degree
- Less than two years of embryology or Trans Ova Genetics–related experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
- Effective communication skills with internal teams and external clients
- Manual dexterity and strong hand‑eye coordination for manipulating small tools and equipment
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a microscope
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet vision requirements including close focus, depth perception, and color/pattern recognition
