What You’ll Do:

• Assess residents’/patients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
• Plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic diets based on medical conditions
• Monitor and document residents’ nutritional status, intake, and progress
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and staff
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility dietary regulations
• Conduct regular audits of food service operations for quality and safety
• Oversee meal planning to ensure nutritional adequacy and resident satisfaction
• Address special dietary needs, allergies, and restrictions
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary reviews
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Current RD in NJ
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• A caring, empathetic approach to patient care
