Job Description

Position Summary:

TCL North America is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead retail operations initiatives across key U.S. channels. This role plays a critical part in enabling the successful delivery of TCL's retail programs by overseeing execution across in-store and omnichannel environments, coordinating with 3PL field partners and cross functional teams, and driving operational excellence across retail systems.

Reporting to GM Retail Management, this position this role partners closely with internal sellout managers, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and external 3PL retail partners to ensure programs are executed accurately and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings a strong operations mindset, analytical capability, and the ability to manage complex retail execution programs in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Own and manage retail operations tools and systems used to track store execution, retail performance, and field activities across U.S. channels.
  • Oversee major retail initiatives including vendor pads, store resets, merchandising updates, and retail program rollouts.
  • Ensure alignment between sales strategy, retail execution, and operational readiness.
  • Manage the deployment, rollout, and ongoing updates of retail execution tools, ensuring field teams and partners are effectively onboarded and utilizing the systems properly.
  • Own retail execution reporting and performance tracking, including dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics that provide visibility into execution and field performance.
  • Analyze retail performance across stores, regions, channels, and SKU levels to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with internal sellout managers, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Training teams to ensure operational readiness for product launches and retail programs.
  • Coordinate execution priorities across internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of retail initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in retail operations processes, reporting accuracy, and execution efficiency.
  • Oversee the coordination and deployment of retail training programs and field enablement materials.
  • Ensure retail teams and partners are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to execute effectively in-store.

Qualification/Requirements:

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent practical experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail operations, sales operations, retail analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar tools.
  • Ability to analyze retail performance across multiple dimensions including store, region, channel, SKU, and time period.
  • Proven ability to translate data insights into clear operational recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with major U.S. retail partners (e.g., Best Buy, Costco, Walmart, Target)
  • Experience managing third-party field execution partners or retail agencies is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard development and data modeling.
  • Experience leveraging automation or AI-assisted tools to improve reporting efficiency and execution visibility.
  • Background in consumer electronics retail or field execution management.
