We are a busy and growing Foot & Ankle surgeons office seeking a full-time team member who is cross trained in both medical assisting and front desk responsibilities. The primary duties will be at the front desk, but you’ll also provide clinical support when needed, especially during high patient volume or staff absences. We're looking for someone organized, patient-focused, and eager to be part of a collaborative team.


    Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk (Primary Role):
  • Greet and check in/out patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer and manage high-volume phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Verify insurance benefits in detail
  • Sanning and Importing patient documents
  • Monitor and respond to incoming emails and faxes.
  • Collect co-pays and assist with billing questions
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards

Clinical (As Needed):
  • Room patients
  • Document patient history and chief complaints
  • Assist with procedures, X-rays, and DME dispensing
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and instruments
  • Ensure a safe and clean clinical environment
  • Help maintain supplies and inventory

 Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a medical office setting (front and/or back office)
  • EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Strong understanding of insurance benefits
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced physician’s office 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable working in both clinical and administrative roles
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365 and fast, accurate typing
  • Ability to effectively work as a team
  • Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standards

Office hours:
Mon - Thur: 8:30 am-12:00 pm, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
Fri: 8:30 am-3:00 pm
