    Program description and responsibilities:

    · The Video Booktalk program brings together the Briarcliff Manor Public Library (BMPL) and Todd School. The Todd School club advisor partners with the children's and teen's librarian at BMPL, and with Todd students

    · It is a student-centered club, where students sign up themselves as interested in the fall. We meet weekly throughout the school year for 1-1/2 hours in small groups, with a total of 15-40 students. The club advisor communicates with parents weekly. The small group weekly meetings ensure that all scripts are written, edited, revised, videotaped, and then produced by the students. We also do extensive work preparing for the Video Booktalk Premiere Party that happens every May.

    · Help students gain writing, presentation, and production skills to produce the final video, incorporating music, intro and outro, and segue effects
