Business Analyst III - Power Platform Specialist
Job Summary:
Alexandria Insights is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst III with expertise in PowerBI, PowerApps, DAX queries, and other related tools to support NIWC Pacific Office of the CTO.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, dashboards, data visualizations, and workflow automations using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data governance frameworks using Dataverse and other related tools.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with O365 and other Microsoft tools to enable seamless workflow automation and data sharing.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions using PowerBI, PowerApps, and DAX queries.
• 1+ year of experience with Dataverse, including data modeling, data governance, and data integration.
• Experience with O365, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
• Advanced skills in PowerBI, including data modeling and data visualization, DAX query development and optimization, and report and dashboard design.
• Proficiency in PowerApps, including application development and deployment, and business logic and workflow design.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and data visualization principles.
Skills Assessment:
• PowerBI: 90% or higher proficiency
• PowerApps: 90% or higher proficiency
• DAX queries: 90% or higher proficiency
• Dataverse: 90% or higher proficiency
• O365: 90% or higher proficiency
• Communication and interpersonal skills: 90% or higher proficiency
Job Requirements:
• Proficiency in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and SharePoint REST API.
• Experience with other Microsoft Power Platform tools, such as Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) and Power Virtual Agents.
• Knowledge of data science concepts and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure Synapse Analytics or Amazon Redshift.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate certification.
Salary Range:
$119,000 to $125,000 depending on experience.
