THE OPPORTUNITY

The Manufacturing Utility Technician supports multiple areas of the production process by operating equipment, assisting with post production work, and helping move product efficiently through manufacturing and shipping. This role floats between departments based on business needs, supporting brazing, finishing, inspection, packaging, and material handling activities.

This is a hands on role suited for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Set up and operate manufacturing equipment including brazing, buffing, ping testing, hubbing machines, and similar equipment

  • Load and unload materials while maintaining efficient cycle times and safe operation

  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic setup or operational issues

  • Interpret drawings and follow routed manufacturing steps

  • Perform in process inspection and record production results in ERP systems

  • Support post production activities such as etching, tubing, labeling, kitting, bagging, and packaging

  • Assist with shipping preparation and product picking with a strong focus on accuracy

  • Support raw materials handling, including pulling materials, receiving, and stocking inventory

  • Maintain tooling, equipment, and a clean, organized work area

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards

YOU’LL BRING

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Basic math skills and understanding of decimal and metric measurements

  • Ability to read work instructions and follow manufacturing processes

  • Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, or precision scales preferred

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to support multiple areas of the operation
