Responsibilities:design transformers, develop documentation, analyze performance

Requirements Summary:2-5 years of professional experience in transformer design and manufacture; ability to read/produce production documents; ability to perform testing; understanding of fundamental mechanical principles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and engineer transformers and custom magnetics including preparing manufacturing documentation and drawings.
Product design in single and three phase transformers between 1 KVA and 1500 KVA.
Design of both air cooled and encapsulated transformer products.
Design custom transformers for OEM applications.

Qualifications:

Have 2-5 years of professional experience working with and design of transformers.
Well versed in all aspects of manufacturing of transformers.
Ability to do testing.
Able to read and develop production documents.
Must fully understand the fundamental and mechanical principals.
