What You’ll Do (Your Impact)

  • Design, Support & Optimize enterprise-wide LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud networking solutions that are secure, scalable, and resilient.
  • Resolve Complex Issues as the highest-tier escalation point for network-related incidents, minimizing downtime and business disruption.
  • Secure the Environment through deployment, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual firewalls across hybrid infrastructures.
  • Plan & Deliver Projects by leading the technical execution, documentation, and validation of network infrastructure initiatives.
  • Automate for Efficiency by identifying repeatable workflows and leveraging automation and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Monitor & Improve Performance using enterprise monitoring, alerting, and logging platforms to proactively manage network health.
  • Document with Precision by maintaining accurate network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Partner Effectively with vendors and service providers to ensure support continuity, contract compliance, and strategic alignment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with modern networking platforms such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Fortinet, and/or Palo Alto.
  • Strong understanding of core networking and cloud technologies, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, RADIUS, TACACS, BGP, IPsec, GRE, and cloud networking services like AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPNs.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments in relation to networking services.
  • Working knowledge of automation and infrastructure tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with enterprise network monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Ability to manage incident, change, and problem tickets aligned with ITIL or similar frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially during high-pressure or outage scenarios.
  • Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, or similar.

Physical Demands of Position:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level and lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 10 pounds.

Environmental/Working Conditions:
Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branch locations requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
