Job Description

Summary

This Aerospace Inside Sales & Sales Operations Specialist is a commercial force-multiplier for Dunmore International’s aerospace business. The Aerospace Inside Sales & CRM Solutions Specialist sits at the intersection of revenue execution, CRM ownership, and cross-functional coordination. The position exists to increase sales velocity, improve forecast accuracy, and ensure that Dunmore’s CRM platform is a trusted operating system for the commercial organization.

This is not a traditional inside sales role and not a pure Salesforce admin position. It is designed for a commercially minded professional who thrives on ownership, structure, and impact in a technically complex, regulated market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Aerospace Inside Sales (Primary Commercial Focus)

  • Own and manage a defined portfolio of Tier 2 aerospace and defense supplier accounts, serving as the primary commercial point of contact for repeat programs, material specifications, and platform-driven opportunities
  • Qualify and progress inbound aerospace leads—primarily from Tier 2 suppliers and sub-system manufacturers—originating from marketing, trade shows, and technical inquiries
  • Support Aerospace BD Managers by managing opportunity flow, follow-ups, quotes, samples, and next steps
  • Act as a consistent customer-facing point of contact for program status, commercial coordination, and basic technical questions
  • Maintain working knowledge of Dunmore’s aerospace-relevant materials, including coated, metallized, laminated films and specialty substrates
  • Identify and advance upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer programs and long-term platforms
  • Support sales forecasting, opportunity reviews, and Tier 2 account planning for aerospace programs
  • Back-up Customer Service overflow
  • Support International customer inquiries

CRM Ownership & Sales Operations (Equal Priority)

  • Serve as the day-to-day owner of CRM platform for the commercial team
  • Maintain account structures, opportunity stages, data hygiene, and activity discipline
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for pipeline, forecast accuracy, lead conversion, and account activity
  • Manage lead flow, routing, and lifecycle discipline in coordination with Marketing
  • Act as first-line support for CRM users, training, and process questions
  • Identify and implement CRM process improvements that reduce friction and improve adoption
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and IT on CRM enhancements and integrations

Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to support aerospace customer requirements
  • Ensure customer commitments, documentation needs, and internal handoffs are tracked and visible
  • Translate CRM data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making
