POSITION SUMMARY
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Cross‑Shift Accountability
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to Shift Supervisors, Leads, and Operators
- Establish clear expectations for shift handoffs and priorities
- Reinforce company policies and core values
- Serve as first-level escalation for production, staffing, quality, and safety concerns
Operational Efficiency & Problem Resolution
- Coordinate production priorities and changeovers
- Collaborate on scheduling and urgent jobs
- Removal of barriers impacting throughput and safety
- Troubleshoot machining and operational issues
Technical Leadership
- Interpret blueprints and work orders
- Program CNC mills and lathes
- Perform machine setups, including tooling and fixtures
- Operate equipment as needed
- Ensure proper use of measuring tools
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Verify inspections and ensure conformance
- Enforce quality standards
- Complete Layered Process Audits
- Drive improvements with cross-functional teams
- Maintain documentation (DOAR, setup sheets, tool cards)
