Job Description

The VP, Growth, National Intel Solutions (NIS) owns the full growth lifecycle for RealmOne's NIS portfolio — from pipeline strategy and customer engagement to capture execution and proposal excellence. This leader builds and leads a high-performing growth team focused on winning prime business with the DoD, while partnering across the enterprise to ensure growth is aligned with capability, capacity, and long-term market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owns new business growth outcomes within the NIS portfolio, serving as the growth facing account executive for the DoD customers.

  • Develops customer engagement plans, which align to current and future growth priorities.

  • Leads a team of Business Development and Capture professionals, provide mentorship and leadership to more junior members of the NIS Growth team.

  • Define and execute the Global Defense and Intel opportunity pipeline, aligning long-term market priorities with corporate objectives and mission-focused opportunity selection.

  • Lead capture and business development execution, strengthening customer relationships, building right-sized teams, enforcing disciplined pipeline qualification, and shaping competitive win strategies.

  • Drive proposal excellence and win performance, ensuring differentiated positioning, aligned pricing and technical solutions, and measurable improvements in win rates.

  • Leverage market intelligence to sharpen competitive advantage, anticipating funding shifts, customer sentiment changes, and emerging openings in target markets.

  • Integrate growth with operational execution, partnering across technology, delivery, finance, and strategy to ensure scalable, profitable, and sustainable expansion.
     

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams, aligning talent and resources to enterprise priorities and the strategic needs of the Global Defense & Intel market.

  • Serves as Growth Leadership in NIS specific corporate partnerships to provide strategic guidance to capture new work and expand current efforts.

  • Serve as the primary integrator between NIS Growth team and equivalent cross‑functional partners—Technology, Finance, People, Delivery, and Strategy—resolving escalations and ensuring unified execution across NIS pursuits and pipeline activities.

  • Oversee hiring, coaching, and performance management of NIS Growth personnel, strengthening organizational capability in disciplined pipeline development, capture execution, and proposal excellence.

  • Manage the budget for Bid and Proposal and Growth resources within the NIS Growth team.

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, mission‑focused culture that accelerates decision‑making and drives consistent, high‑quality outcomes in a complex national security environment.
     

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in growth, strategy, program management, engineering, or related executive or senior leadership roles in a DoD professional services environment.

  • 10 years of experience working with the DoD industry, military, or civilian.

  • Proven track record leading growth planning, pipeline development, business development or capture in complex, high-growth settings.

  • Experience working closely with multi-functional executive teams.

  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and a bias toward action.

  • Excellent customer-facing abilities including written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to assess both market opportunity and financial return.

  • Strong business judgment and executive presence.

  • Possess current and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
     

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to work in a typical office environment at RealmOne headquarters in Columbia, MD on a part-time basis.

  • Position may require travel as identified by the customers and individuals to meet with employees or customers.

  • Work Schedule is full-time Monday-Friday with flexibility for off hours if needed to be responsive to emerging strategic demands.
