Essential Duties and Responsibilities
DSP (Distilled Spirits Products)–Specific Responsibilities
- Handles, blends, and fills distilled spirits–based products in compliance with FDA regulations, internal SOPs, and cGMP standards.
- Ensures full lot traceability of DSP raw materials and finished products, including alcohol content documentation.
- Verifies and documents correct labeling, product identification, and segregation of DSP materials.
- Follows flammable material handling procedures and alcohol storage requirements.
- Use appropriate PPE and follow safety controls when working with high-proof alcohols.
- Conducts DSP blending operations in designated DSP blend areas only.
- Completes all DSP batch records accurately, including yield calculations and reconciliation.
- Immediately reports spills, deviations, or non-conformances involving DSP materials.
- Supports internal and external audits related to FDA compliance and DSP handling.
- Participates in required FDA, cGMP, and DSP-specific training.
Requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6+ months of batching or blending experience in a chemical, food, beverage, or FDA-regulated environment preferred.
- Ability to read and follow batch records, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Willingness to comply with FDA, safety, and company policies.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle drums, pails, and hoses.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and operate forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, ½-hour lunch (some weekends as needed)

The Blend Technician – DSP Blend Room is responsible for accurately blending, mixing, and handling distilled spirits–based and chemical products in an FDA-regulated warehouse environment. This role supports production by safely preparing materials, following batch records and SOPs, maintaining detailed documentation, and ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance.
