DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- A member of the health care team who plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of speech therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
  - Graduate of an accredited program in speech and language pathology.
  - Current IL State Speech Pathologist licensure and membership with ASHA; or Speech Pathologist licensure and CFY. When CCC (certificate of clinic competence) is obtained, ASHA membership is required.
  - Basic computer knowledge.
  - Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  - DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- Personal
  - Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
  - Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
  - Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
  - Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patient optimal care.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
