DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

A member of the health care team who plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of speech therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional/Educational
-
Graduate of an accredited program in speech and language pathology.
-
Current IL State Speech Pathologist licensure and membership with ASHA; or Speech Pathologist licensure and CFY. When CCC (certificate of clinic competence) is obtained, ASHA membership is required.

Basic computer knowledge.

Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.

Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.

Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
