Job Description










A position has been declared open in the Weber School District at Weber High School for a Fine Arts Student Temp. This is a temporary/seasonal position. To apply for this position, **the applicant must be pre-approved by the school's Fine Arts Director.** It is the responsibility of the applicant to contact the high school's Fine Arts Director / Head of Fine Arts Department before submitting an application.

Job Descriptions:

 

Fine Arts:

The Arts and Design Technician is responsible for supporting teaching and learning in the Arts Department (Art, Film, Drama and Music) and Design Department through the management and maintenance of materials, tools, equipment and teaching spaces. The technician reports to the Heads of Departments. 
 







Theatre Technician:


Theatre technicians are responsible for ensuring that the lighting, sound and other technical aspects of theatre performances run safely, smoothly and on time. ... Technicians make sure that theatre equipment is kept in good working order and that all those using or exposed to it are safe.

 


Band:


The Band Tech assists the Band Director with woodwinds, brass, percussion, colorguard or visual needs.  Duties include running sectionals, rehearsals, 1 on 1 teaching and anything the Director deems fit for the skills of the Tech.  The applicant might need to advise the Director as needed, but follow the Director's expectations, decisions, and example.  They must maintain professional demeanor at all times around the students.
