Job Description

Hamilton Grove Healthcare & Rehabilitation is looking for a reliable RN (Registered Nurse) 3-11 Supervisor to ensure that quality and compassionate patient care is provided for on all of our nursing units during the evening (3pm-11pm) shift.

The RN Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the nursing staff to ensure that the assigned duties are being performed in a professional and timely manner.  This RN Nursing Supervisor nurse may also act as a floor nurse on a unit, to accommodate staffing needs. Our ideal candidate will be actively involved in providing staff support, assist with admissions and ensure that all tasks are completed.

The general responsibilities of the RN Supervisor will be as follows:

  • Oversee and coordinate evening nursing staff, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to schedules.
  • Supervise and support nursing personnel, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Monitor and assess resident care, ensuring high-quality and compassionate services.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement care plans.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, address concerns, and ensure compliance with care standards.
  • Respond to emergencies, making critical decisions and implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with families, residents, and staff to maintain open lines of communication.
  • Collaborate with the facility's leadership team to promote a positive and cohesive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Address and resolve issues or conflicts among staff members promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to resident well-being.

Must hold an active New Jersey RN license in the state of New Jersey or a compact license allowing the RN to work in the state of New Jersey.
