Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Business Office Manager role is a caring and compassionate individual that is dedicated to making a positive impact on their customers, learn and expand professionally in a supportive, collaborative environment.  

Shift: Full-time, Monday – Friday

Business Office Managers Experience Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding in Medicaid application processing REQUIRED.
  • Previous experience applying for ICP Medicaid and completing the annual ICP Medicaid re-certification strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred for this position.

Business Office Managers primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensure a thorough, timely and proper completion, signing and distribution of admission/readmission paperwork;
  • Provides an explanation of financial obligations to customer or family;
  • Obtains insurance cards.
  • Issue receipts upon acceptance of payments.
  • Processes credit card transaction.
  • Ensures accurate and complete face sheet information is entered into AR Billing system;
  • Assembles completed financial files;
  • Completes Medicaid ICP applications for those customers seeking State Medical assistance;
  • Monitors annual reviews for those customers on the Medicaid ICP program.
