| Position Highlights | The University of Arizona's Department of Mathematics within the College of Science invites you to apply to the position of Graduate Coordinator (Student Services Administration Professional II). In this multifaceted role, you will serve as the primary contact for the Mathematics Department Graduate Program, including, but not limited to, recruitment, admissions, advising graduate students, ensuring graduate compliance with policies and procedures, monitoring student progress, supporting the Graduate Committee, and processing paperwork. This role is also responsible for assisting in managing graduate budgets and funding, as well as assisting with fellowship, scholarships, and any other awards provided to Department Graduates. The Department of Mathematics is the campus home for the Mathematical Sciences; the place where members of our community create, communicate, and apply mathematics of the highest caliber. The Mathematics Graduate Program offers dynamic, advanced areas of study leading to Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Mathematics, preparing students for impactful careers in academia, industry, and beyond. Students in this program research various fields of Mathematics, including Algebra, Analysis, Applied Math, Geometry, Math Education, Probability, and Statistics.
