YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



 



Researcher / Software Defined Vehicles (SDV)

 

Qualifications

 

  • PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python, model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink), and software validation.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic, Adaptive, QNX, Linux or RTOS.
  • Understanding of Ethernet, SOME/IP communication stacks.
  • Familiarity with SDV alliances and tools (e.g. Eclipse SDV, COVESA).
  • Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and modify SDV functions.
  • Survey and develop state-of-the-art technologies/methods for AI.
  • Develop model-based SW in MATLAB/Simulink environment and hand-coded SW for custom implementations.
  • Conduct requirements engineering/management.

 

Researcher / Artificial Intelligence (AI)

 

Qualifications

 

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Informatics or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in model generation, training and inference.
  • Know-how on language models.
  • Knowledge of AI based cyber-security algorithms design and development.
  • Experience on Object Oriented Programming (using at least one of the following languages: C#, Java, C++, Python).
  • Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and modify AI functions.
  • Survey and develop state-of-the-art technologies/methods for AI.
  • Design, code, test, document and maintain software solutions.
  • Conduct requirements engineering/management.

 

Researcher / Power Electronics

 

Qualifications

 

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely related field.
  • Expert knowledge in multi-level converter topologies, thermal management, wide-bandgap semiconductor devices, chip embedding and advanced packaging technologies and automotive EMC standards.
  • Advanced simulation skills (LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS).
  • Knowledge of automotive development processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262).
  • Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop next-generation LV/HV automotive power converters using multi-level topologies.
  • Develop gate drivers for wide-bandgap semiconductors and advanced IGBTs with focus on high-frequency, high-efficiency operations.
  • Design switch-mode power supplies with optimization for automotive environment.
  • Perform FMEA for safety-critical automotive systems.

 

Researcher / Batteries

 

Qualifications

 

  • PhD in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Expert knowledge in, automotive-grade battery cells, battery system development, battery management systems.
  • Advanced simulation skills (MATLAB/Simulink, ETAS tools, HiL Simulators).
  • Knowledge in electrical components, sensors and actuators.
  • Knowledge in EVs, electric machines, power electronics and electrical safety standards.
  • Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support integration activities for HV battery including requirements engineering.
  • Develop and maintain battery models and perform battery data analysis from cell to pack-level tests.
  • Develop battery management functions and algorithms.
  • Define test & validation procedures, analyze results and ensure compliance with performance, durability, and safety targets.

The program's goal is to encourage qualified researchers with overseas experience who have excelled in their fields through high-level science and technology-oriented research to come to Türkiye and contribute to projects that will be carried out in research areas of strategic importance for our country.

 

Application Requirements:

 

Applicants must not have resided in Türkiye for more than 1 year within the last 3 years and must not be working in Türkiye.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • To be on the "Top Cited Researchers List" published by Thomson Reuters in any year of the last 5 years.
  • To have worked for a total of at least 30 months in institutions ranked in one of the following positions in the last 5 years:
    • List of top 100 universities published by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) or THE (Times Higher Education).
    • List of top 2500 companies with the highest R&D spending in the world published by the European Commission Joint Research Centre:
    • List of top 250 institutions in the health - higher education - public - private subfields published by Scimago Institutions Ranking
    • List of most successful Start-Ups and Unicorn Companies receiving the highest investment.

 

Additional Application Requirements for Outstanding Researchers Program

 

Applicants must meet at least one of the following work experience requirements:

  • Having worked full-time for at least 3 years abroad as a faculty member or team leader at a university or public research center, or having conducted independent academic research, after completing their doctoral studies.
  • Having 6 years of full-time research experience, including at least 3 years in the private sector after completing their undergraduate studies abroad (a maximum of 1 year of a completed master's degree or a maximum of 3 years of a completed doctoral degree abroad may be included in this research experience).

 

Additional Application Requirements for  Early-Stage Researchers Program

 

Applicants must be under the age of 40 and meet at least one of the following work experience requirements:

  • Having completed doctoral studies abroad within the last 4 years and having at least 1 year of postdoctoral work experience abroad.
  • Having 4 years of full-time research experience, including at least 1 year in the private sector after completing undergraduate studies abroad (a maximum of 1 year of a completed master's degree with thesis or a maximum of 3 years of a completed doctoral degree abroad can be included in this research experience).
