Overview



SCCI is seeking a n experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team! While we are looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO), candidates that meet the preferred skills of this job will be considered for a dual role as an FSO and Information System Security Officer (ISSO).  In this position you will manage personnel and industrial security for cleared programs while leading cybersecurity and RMF compliance for company information systems. This is a hands-on position supporting DoD contracts in a cleared contractor environment. This position is available for immediate hire and is located in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:



 




  • Serve as Facility Security Officer: Manage personnel clearances, continuous adjudication, visit requests, facility clearance maintenance, SF-86 oversight, insider threat program support, security education/training, industrial security audits, and liaison with DSS/DoD security offices

  • Serve as Information Systems Security Officer: Implement and maintain RMF/ACAS/continuous monitoring, oversee system security plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, vulnerability remediation, incident response coordination, and security control assessments

  • Maintain and update security policies, SOPs, and compliance artifacts for NISPOM, NIST SP 800-53/800-171, DoD 8500-series, and CMMC requirements

  • Support contract security requirements, facility inspections, and prepare for/participate in government assessments

  • Track and report metrics, deliverables, and compliance status to leadership
