Schedule
Full-time / Part-time opportunities available- Rotating Saturday availability required
Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and daily living activities
Support and encourage safe practices and proper nutrition
Observe and report changes in participants’ physical or mental condition to the Adult Day RN
Follow all care procedures, documentation standards, and professional conduct guidelines
Assist with and supervise daily activity programs (arts, crafts, group activities)
Support community outings and scheduled trips
Prepare, serve, and clean up meals and snacks
Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts CNA or HHA certification required
Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting strongly preferred
At least 1 year of experience working with adults in healthcare or social services
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and patience- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Physical & Work Environment
Clean, well-lit environment with varying temperatures and close team interaction
Frequent sitting (up to 75% of the workday), with periods of standing and walking
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds
Ability to navigate stairs and operate basic equipment
Requires manual dexterity and visual acuity for documentation and tasks
