Promontory Development is looking to fulfill a vacancy for a Home Services Maintenance Technician – Full time.

The Home Services Maintenance Technician will ensure that clientele receive all services designated in each individual contract and provide accurate information and feedback to management regarding home conditions, repairs and or needs by certified/licensed outside vendors discovered during home walkthroughs or service visits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Organize home walkthroughs to optimize travel time and walkthrough convenience.
  • When providing walk through services, have a keen eye to look for details and take initiative to correct minor issues on the fly.
  • Primary provider of routine walkthroughs on assigned homes
  • Provide input on walkthroughs to customize lists on each home for efficiency and quality.
  • Assist Home Services Inspection Technicians with minor maintenance items and special projects
  • Must possess basic knowledge in the handling and operation of hand and power tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues regarding all mechanical aspects of homes such as water softeners, hot water systems, furnaces, security systems, etc. within the homes of the Promontory Home Services clientele umbrella.
  • Provide repairs within your technical ability on homes that do not require licensed and certified personnel.
  • When needed, assist outside vendors with access to homes and monitor their performance until work is completed.
  • Provide Home Services Management with recommendations in scheduling special project requests to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain levels of inventory of high use items such as light bulbs, batteries, fasteners and other useable items.
  • Develop rapport with homeowners to gain trust and professional friendships.
  • Ensure level of work is of the highest quality and meets Promontory standards to maintain high level of respect of all Promontory homeowners.
  • Must be willing to work various hours, evenings, holidays and weekends may be required.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
