What You’ll Do:
As our Activities Director, you will lead and revitalize our Memory Care life enrichment program with a focus on person-centered engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing and implementing creative, structured daily and monthly activity programs tailored to memory care residents
Introducing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to increase engagement and participation
Planning and facilitating activities such as music therapy, sensory stimulation, arts & crafts, reminiscence programs, fitness, and small group/one-on-one engagement
Creating individualized engagement plans based on residents’ cognitive abilities, interests, and life history
Fostering a calm, supportive, and stimulating environment that promotes dignity and independence
Encouraging resident involvement and building meaningful connections
Collaborating with nursing, dietary, and leadership teams to enhance the overall resident experience
Tracking participation and continuously improving programming based on resident response
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or Long-Term Care preferred
Certified Activity Director (or willingness to obtain certification)
Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia-related behaviors
A creative self-starter with the ability to build and elevate a program
Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to resident care
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Someone who thrives on turning ideas into meaningful experiences
A genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors
