Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput
- Conduct time studies and capacity analysis to optimize production flow
- Troubleshoot quality issues and implement Root cause/corrective actions (RCCA)
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to establish inspection criteria and acceptance standards
- Evaluate and qualify new tools, equipment, and fixtures
- Interface with Design Engineering to provide manufacturing feasibility feedback
- Identify automation opportunities to enhance productivity
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics assembly or similar environment
- Electromechanical assembly experience in a production environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma green built certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Understanding of electrical/electronic testing procedures and equipment
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems, Oracle, AgilePDM, Digithread, Jira, Confluence
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, or statistical software)
- Familiarity with IPC standards and industry quality requirements
