Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, to the extent that such an accommodation does not pose an undue hardship on the Company.

• Assist in utilizing the Sibelco Quality system at Sibelco facility.

• Lead in ensuring that product and services meet or exceed customer specifications.

• Perform plant quality checks per SMI’s Quality Procedures.

• Update and maintain quality records on a computer.

• Perform and document in-process cullet sampling in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP)

. • Conduct and document incoming and outgoing load inspections.

• Work with the maintenance personnel to ensure equipment operates efficiently to optimize product quality.

• Wear appropriate site specific personal protective equipment (PPE), as required. • Understand and adhere to all company operating procedures and company safety policies.

• Cross-trained in other plant positions, as needed

. • Any other related duties, as assigned by their supervisor
