Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of

Middle School Assistant Volleyball Coach.

Requirements

 

      Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff in both individual and group settings.

       Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.

         Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development.

     Availability to attend practices, games, and other team-related events, including evenings and weekends as required.

Middle School Assistant Volleyball Coach.

$2,531 stipend for the Season

Hours Per Day

Approximately 2-3

Schedule (Approximately)

Practices: M-F 3:00-4:30 PM.  Home gamedays run from 3-6:30 PM. On away gamedays, coaches can expect to leave for the game destination as early as 2 PM, and return as late as 8:30 PM. Game schedules generally consist of 10 total games, half of which are typically away.

Working Days per Year

Seasonal - Mid August 2026 through

Mid October 2026

Benefits

Benefits for this position are limited due to the limited and variable nature of the role. 

  -Paid Time Off

     Sick Leave/Earned Safe & Sick Time - Earn 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
