    Qualifications:              
    Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of speech tournaments and the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) state speech contest series. Experience in high school or college speech activities as a participant or coach is desired. Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to work with others and to easily communicate with coaches, team members, and parents. Participation at weekday and weekend events and tournaments is required.
