Job Description

Job Summary

Seeking a student interested in marketing, communications, design, or healthcare promotion, with a focus on increasing awareness of pharmacy services across the Purdue community. This position will assist in executing marketing strategies through both digital and in-person channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging digital content across social media platforms consistently
  • Design promotional materials, including flyers, posters, and digital graphics
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend tabling events at campus fairs and other outreach opportunities
  • Assist with organizing and executing marketing campaigns and campus outreach initiatives
  • Distribute flyers, surveys, and other promotional materials to increase visibility and engagement
  • Monitor social media engagement and provide input on content effectiveness and audience trends
  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and professionalism across all marketing materials
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to identify promotional opportunities and support ongoing initiatives

Qualifications & Work Expectations

Currently enrolled Purdue University student (preferred majors: Marketing, Communication, Public Relations and Strategic Communication, or related field). Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated creativity and attention to detail.  Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram) & basic graphic design skills (experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred)  Flexible part-time schedule within pharmacy operating hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
